Naoko Takeuchi – The Beloved Author Behind the Legend

On March 7, 1992, the very first episode of the Sailor Moon animation aired on Japanese television, introducing audiences to Usagi Tsukino and her team of Pretty Guardians.

Just a few days later, on March 15, fans also celebrate the birthday of Naoko Takeuchi - the one-and-only Pretty Princess behind this legendary franchise!

Sailor Moon Museum – Celebrating the Magical Legacy That Lives On

Even after more than three decades, Sailor Moon continues to shine with remakes and new films such as Sailor Moon Crystal, Sailor Moon Eternal, and Sailor Moon Cosmos.

This iconic magical girl (shoujo) series remains a beloved milestone in anime history, captivating fans across generations.

↑ Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Museum in Roppongi, Tokyo

To commemorate its 30th anniversary in 2022, the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Museum first opened at Roppongi Museum in Tokyo, drawing an overwhelming response from fans.

Building on that success, the museum exhibition embarked on a nationwide tour across Japan in 2024, showcasing over 600 rare and vintage Sailor Moon collectibles—including toys, theatre costumes, and exclusive fashion collaborations from throughout the years.

As an extension of these celebrations, the release of Sailor Moon Raisonné Art Works in late 2024 was accompanied by a special exhibition, making it an unforgettable year for Sailor Moon fans everywhere!
